Shiny new website for Age Concern MRR

The power of collaboration is incredible in our community. Having heard about the services of the Skylark group at a recent community networking event hosted by Reigate and Banstead Borough Council, Age Concern Merstham Redhill and Reigate were able to benefit from skills based help from local firm Pfizer, based at Walton-on-the-Hill.

Age Concern have been selected by Skylark as part of their pilot study to support charities with professional skills and can help with business strategy and management support. As part of this study they will liaise with local volunteer based support VARB and support us directly in house to highlight key skills required. One of the charity's most urgent requirements was a website and Russell Craske from Pfizer came up trumps.

Russell works in Pfizer's communications team and he jumped at the chance to use his charity days to help Age Concern develop a new state of the art shiny website. The site will give Age Concern an valuable marketing tool enabling them to raise awareness of the great work they do helping older people to continue to live independently.

The charity would be interested to hear from anyone that can support their work with skills based services including communications, fundraising and events and HR support. Find out more from enquiries@ageconcernmrr.org.uk
