Monday Club
One of the biggest challenges we face is that the average age of our day centre clients is over 80 and they enjoy a very set routine when they attend the centre. Although this suits them perfectly, it can be slightly daunting when younger, potential clients visit the centre. Our solution is the ‘Monday Club’ which is deliberately not following the same format as our usual days. The day includes more activity with a ‘wobble’ exercise class designed specifically for seniors, board games, scrabble, mind games and a flexible snack menu for lunch as opposed to the formal meal on the other days. The extra day is open to existing clients, and to non-members who can experience the centre without committing to a membership.

Wobble is ideal for those who want to improve or maintain their physical and mental wellbeing.
It starts and ends in a chair. There are also optional standing elements.
