All Saint's Fair - 9th June
We are very excited to be part of All Saints Fair, based in South Merstham on the green. The day kicks off at 10am and the whole community is invited down - there's plenty to see and do and we will be hosting a ‘Handbags and Glad Rags’ stall, so any unwanted bags and scarves would be very welcome. Please support our stall, including the Tombola!
Quality Street Fair - 6th July
The Quality Street Fair is a key event each year on our local calendar. It is a great opportunity for Age Concern to raise awareness of our work in the local community reminding people why we are here - to support local people to live well in later life. Please come down and say hello, it's a good chance to see and hear what we do and perhaps we can encourage you to get involved too. We have volunteer openings for both befriending and volunteering at the centre - come and find out about our Men's Shed too. As part of our fundraising to keep our centre sustainable, we will be selling raffle tickets - there's a good chance you may win something too.
Reigate Beaumont host Age Concern's Summer Jazz Festival - 14th July
Everyone’s favourite! For the third year running, the lovely people down at Reigate Beaumont are giving up their garden for the afternoon, so we can play host to the Dixieland Stompers. The doors are open from 3.30pm with summer sounds starting at 4.30pm. Bring a picnic, your deck chair and blankets and pop open some bubbly to enjoy a relaxing afternoon of Jazz.
Tickets are £8 per person and as this is a fundraiser, please dig deep and support the event with an additional donation or take part in our raffle event. As ever, we are looking for raffle prizes and volunteers during the event, please contact the centre if you can help.
